Well, we managed to avoid any more snow last night so that was a good thing! We left Texarkana around lunchtime towards Little Rock.
Unfortunately everyone was a little tired and not feeling great so our driving didn’t last too long. Right now, I’m the only one that hasn’t caught a cold and poor Scarlett is the worst.
We started looking for a place to stay and ended up driving about 30 miles north of the interstate up to Hot Springs, Arkansas.
John and I stayed in Hot Springs once before, almost 7 years ago, but a lot has changed! It is such a beautiful little resort town.
Winding roads, huge beautiful trees, snow on the hills, it looked like it was straight out of a magazine. I wish I had pictures, but since I was driving also it wasn’t possible.
We found an RV park right in the middle of town and got settled down for the night. We might stay an extra day depending on how everyone is feeling tomorrow. Right now, we’re enjoying our cozy warm spot in this very chilly weather! Hoping I get to check out one of the spas too…

I LOVE Hot Springs! I have wonderful memories of several vacations there with Granny and Big Daddy. We went to all of the tourist attractions! So much fun. I hope y’all get to look around a little.
